Forum for Fourth District Councilmember Candidates

Date: June 11 from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm

Candidates running to represent the Fourth District on the Seattle City Council will attend a candidate forum co-hosted by community groups on Tuesday, June 11th at U Heights Community Center (auditorium). Doors open at 6pm for meet-and-greet and the forum panel runs from 6:30-8:30pm. The event is open to the public and wheelchair accessible. Light refreshments will be offered.

All ten candidates for the position are attending: Sasha Anderson, Ethan Hunter, Frank Krueger, Beth Mountsier, Emily Myers, Joshua Newman, Alex Pedersen, Shaun Scott, Heidi Stuber, and Cathy Tuttle.

The forum is co-hosted by the U District Small Businesses, the U District Community Council, the University Park Community Club, the Seattle Displacement Coalition, and the U District Advocates, who will each ask one question of each candidate. The event will be moderated by Cliff Cawthon, who teaches Political Science at Bellevue Community College.

Additional questions from the community may be submitted to forum@udistrict.biz in advance and during the event on paper cards. Questions should focus on issues related to the U District.

We greatly appreciate the generous support of U Heights Community Center for hosting the event, and Trader Joe's in the U District for providing refreshments.
